Happy moment when I received the first product review from USA jeep blogger .-)

The final stage of the sale is over. The products are available on my website and within a few days on eBay. The products are stoked in the state of Michigan in an automated warehouse is connected to my eBay account.

#15 - Photo shooting for e-commerce

Making product pictures is not easy, reflections, shadows, brightness. As I am not really equipped, I work with what I have.
But this stage is great, the fruit of my labor before my eyes, months of work, disillusions to finally have the final parts. So to photograph them, even if it is complicated, remains a much less worry.

Yeeeeees, I am happy, first product done!

I just received the first set of products from the mold making, so this is no longer a prototype, but the real product. It took a few tests and to set the machine for a result like that.
Now nothing is opposed to the production launch of the first 200 sets.

The creation of the mold to began almost a month ago, if interesting how it is composed.

After 8 months of work in this Bumper Nerf reproduction project or I left on very bad copies, after a lot of conceptualization, testing and many prototypes, I'm happy to announce that the Bumper Nerf for Jeep Grand Wagoneer 84–91, are now out in production.

Pre-booking is opening now.

After several tests on my own bumper, some little modification is needed. But what is the limit ? Making parts better than the original or just copying the original? In this case, customer feedback is welcome.

Test of a PP prototype is required to check the flexibility of the product. This is not possible with the ABS because that is hard plastic and doesn’t have a good resist at deformation. 

Nothing is worth the tests on the real parts, but it also shows immediately the errors so we will correct, again.

The big challenge on reproducing parts, when you need to compare original parts and prototypes, is how to present the modification and what technique you need to use.
That is my strategy, but certainly not the better one.

Prototypes for Chrysler Jeep Grand Wagoneer 81–91 are ready. Can’t wait to check on my bumper.

Comparison between original out of the box samples of bumper stripes for Chrylser Jeep Grand Wagoneer and 3D drawing files received by supplier proves to be an important moment for the project.

After some time to search for bumpers in good condition for Jeep Grand Wagoneer, I finally found a set in Switzerland.

Received scan and 3D drawing today. Wow ! Nice work ; all defaults removed.
