Jeep Grand Cherokee Chassis Frames & Advanced Body Parts
Hours of work, tons of dust in my hair,
and a lot of discouragement…
The chassis and axles were red with rust. Being unable to separate the chassis from the cabin because of a lack of room, I had to unmount all of it and clean everything with a brush.
All of the bolts and washers were re-galvanized in golden yellow. Ball joints, silent blocks, brakes; everything is new.
I covered everything with a rust primer and satin black epoxy paint.
Some improvements were made on the mechanical elements, including reducing the direction ratio from 16:1 to 12.5:1 to achieve a European driving experience.
